Posted October 14, 2018 08:20:23Buckeyes are the most popular sweets in the world.
A team of researchers from Cornell University has discovered they’re also the world’s favourite.
The research, published in the Journal of Consumer Research, is based on a survey of over 100,000 adults.
It found that, despite the ubiquity of candy in the US, there are a staggering 8,000,000 varieties of candy out there.
Buckels are a family of sweets that include: The Buggles, The Cornies, Candy Crush, The Snickers, and the Pixies.
Cereals such as the Cranberry Crunch and Chocolate Chunk are also among the most common.
The researchers also found that people in the UK, Germany, Spain, Italy and France are among the least likely to have a favourite candy.
Researchers say the world is not only a great place to find candy, but also to have one of the most delicious snacks available.
