Time is about to hit full stride.
With the holiday season upon us, it’s time for us to celebrate.
In this episode, we celebrate all things Christmas with a spree candy recipe from Spree Candy!
And of course, there are spree cookies!
Spree candy is one of my favorite candies.
The flavors are all very sweet and there are tons of fun flavors to choose from.
I’m a huge fan of the Christmas sweaters, and Spree has been a favorite for a long time.
I love how easy they are to make.
If you love candy, then you will love this spree recipe!
You will love making Spree’s Christmas Sweaters.
These spree sweets are so easy and are perfect for parties, birthdays, and just for fun.
I think you’ll love them too!
Recipe from Spreets Christmas Sweater.
This is the same spree as I made for the Spree Cake, but this one is a little different.
You’ll need: 1 cup of flour 1 cup sugar 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1 cup chocolate chips 1/4 cup brown sugar 2 cups chopped nuts 1/2 cup walnuts Directions: In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, brown sugar, and nuts.
In a separate bowl, combine the chopped nuts and nuts and mix well.
You may also use your hands to mix together the flour mixture.
Using a hand mixer, slowly mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until the dough comes together.
Form into balls and wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place a baking sheet on a cookie sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the bottoms of the cookies are lightly golden brown.
Remove from oven and allow to cool on a wire rack.
In another bowl, add the chocolate chips.
Using your fingers, rub the chocolate into the tops of the dough.
Place on the prepared baking sheet and set aside for 10 minutes.
Remove the spreets cookies from the baking sheet.
With a fork, gently poke the tops with the fork to loosen the cookies from their plastic wrapper.
Remove spreettes cookies from baking sheet with a slotted spoon and set on a cooling rack.
If using a wooden spoon, gently swirl the spree dough around the cooling rack to loosen it from the wooden spoon.
Bake for about 30-35 minutes, until the tops are lightly browned.
Remove baking sheet from the oven and place on a rack.
Repeat baking process for additional spreettas.
Enjoy your spreet candy with a spoon!
Notes I also added some chopped walnuts for extra crunch. 3.5.3208
